The crowd at Saturday's league match between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the visiting Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), saw Chopticon's softball squad achieve victory over Great Mills by a count of 10-0.

The Braves now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Calvert for a Southern Maryland match on Monday, April 8. Chopticon will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Great Mills falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD) to face the Cougars in a Southern Maryland match on Monday, April 8. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-2. Thomas Stone lost 14-4 in their recent league match against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD)
