The Danville Blue Devils softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints to 1 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Danville improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Blue Devils host Mt. Gilead (Mt. Gilead, OH) to clash with the Indians in a Knox Morrow Athletic game on Tuesday, April 9. The Indians come into the game with a record of 2-4. Mt. Gilead lost 16-8 in their recent non-league game against Berne Union (Sugar Grove, OH)

In their next game, the Saints clash with the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers (Strasburg, OH) in a Inter-Valley game, on Tuesday, April 9. Tuscarawas Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 13-0 league win over East Canton (East Canton, OH).
