The Cardinals now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jal for a A/2A District 4 match on Tuesday, April 9. Eunice will face a Panthers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Hatch Valley falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cobre (Bayard, NM) to face the Indians in a 3A District 3 match on Saturday, April 20. The Indians enter the match with a record of 11-5. Cobre lost 12-11 in their recent non-league match against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM)
