The Flambeau Falcons routed the host Gilman Pirates softball squad by a count of 11-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bruce (Bruce, WI). The Red Raiders go into the Lakeland - East battle with a 0-0 record.
The Pirates now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Cadott for a Cloverbelt - West battle on Monday, April 8. Gilman will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Cornell/Lake Holcombe (Cornell, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
