In Saturday's non-league contest, the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) softball team overwhelmed the host Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY), by a margin of 9-0.

With the triumph, Marion County moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to play the Commodores in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 6. The Commodores come into the contest with a record of 5-7.

In their next game, the Golden Lions play the West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 9. Garrard County will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Colts come into the contest with a 12-1 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, OH).
