Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL), witnessed Waubonsie Valley's softball squad tip Harlem by a count of 8-3.

The Warriors now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Naperville Central for a DuPage Valley match on Monday, April 8. Waubonsie Valley will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Harlem moves to 1-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to face the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 match on Monday, April 8. The E-Rabs go into the match with a record of 0-1. Rockford East lost 20-0 in their recent non-league match against South Beloit (South Beloit, IL)
