The LeRoy Panthers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Hoopeston Cornjerkers to 3 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, LeRoy moves its record to 13-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Heyworth (Heyworth, IL) to clash with the Hornets in a Heart of Illinois game on Monday, April 8. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 5-2.

In their next game, the Cornjerkers clash with the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) in a Vermilion Valley game, on Monday, April 8. Hoopeston will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Storm come into the game with a 4-6 record after their 16-5 league loss to Milford (Milford, IL).
