Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), 13-4 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Fe for a 5A District 5 challenge on Friday, April 12. Los Lunas will face a Demons squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Demons record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Manzano falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 4-10.
