The Mansfield Tigers the host Magnet Cove Panthers softball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Bearcats go into the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Booneville held off Two Rivers (Ola, AR), 11-0, in a league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bigelow for a 2A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, April 9. Magnet Cove will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 6-4 league win over Poyen (Poyen, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 10-6.
