Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA) and the visiting Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), witnessed Northshore's softball squad tip Northlake Christian by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers now sport a 18-13 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Carmel for a non-league match on Monday, April 8. Northshore will face a Cubs squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Cubs record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Northlake Christian moves to 13-7 on the season. The Wolverines host Mandeville (Mandeville, LA) to face the Skippers in a non-league match on Monday, April 8. The Skippers go into the match with a record of 17-7. Mandeville lost 14-13 in their recent non-league match against East Ascension (Gonzales, LA)
