Texas High School Softball - Ysleta can't hold off Parkland

April 6, 2024: El Paso, TX 79924

The Parkland Matadors softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Ysleta Indians to 5 in the Matadors league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Parkland moves its record to 17-14 on the year. The Matadors travel to Del Valle (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Conquistadores in a 5A Region I District 2 game on Wednesday, April 10. The Conquistadores come into the game with a record of 22-2. Del Valle won 15-0 in their recent league game against Horizon (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 game, on Wednesday, April 10. Ysleta will attempt to move on its 28-3 season record. The Highlanders come into the game with a 14-10 record after their 14-13 league win over Hanks (El Paso, TX).
