The Bluejacket Chieftains baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Commerce Tigers to 4 in the Chieftains non-league win on Monday.
The Chieftains now hold a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Colcord for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 7. Bluejacket will play a Hornets team coming off a 4-4 non-league Bluejacket (Bluejacket, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 3-8.
With the defeat, Commerce drops to 7-8 on the year. The Tigers host Welch (Welch, OK) to play the Wildcats in a Lucky Seven test on Thursday, April 9. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-9. Welch lost 18-6 in their recent league test against Afton (Afton, OK)
