In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Walton Braves baseball team scored a close 12-8 victory over the Central Jaguars.

The Braves (6-15) will now prepare for their game against Ponce De Leon (Ponce De Leon, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 6-12 record. In their last game, Ponce De Leon got by Altha (Altha, FL), 17-0, in a non-league contest.

The Jaguars now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Baker for a Rural District 1 contest on Tuesday, April 7. Central will confront a Gators squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Pine Forest (Pensacola, FL). The Gators record now stands at 13-7.
