The Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN) baseball trounced the visiting Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN), 11-5 in Monday's league challenge.

The Greene Devils now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Volunteer for a 3A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 7. Greeneville will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 2-13.

With the defeat, Grainger drops to 5-8 on the year. The Grizzlies host Cherokee (Rogersville, TN) to clash with the Chiefs in a 3A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 7. The Chiefs go into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Cherokee lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Union County (Maynardville, TN)
