The Hackett Hornets overwhelmed the host Paris Eagles softball squad by a count of 13-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 7. Hackett will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.

The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedarville (Cedarville, AR). The Pirates go into the 3A Region 4 challenge with a 1-5 record.
