Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ) and the visiting San Luis Sidewinders (San Luis, AZ), saw Gila Ridge's baseball squad edge San Luis by a count of 11-10.

Coming up next, the Hawks play the Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) in a 5A Northwest battle, on Friday, April 9. Gila Ridge will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Coyotes enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 5-4 league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ).

The Sidewinders now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alhambra for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 13.
