The Cornerstone Christian Eagles crushed the host Marshall Christian Academy Stallions baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covenant Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 9. Cornerstone Christian will face a Falcons team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Heritage Christian (Pawnee, AL). The Falcons record now stands at 9-5.
Next, the Stallions face the Cullman Christian Lions (Cullman, AL) in a bout, on Friday, April 8. Marshall Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Lions go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 20-9 league loss to Marshall Christian Academy (Albertville, AL).
