The Gordon Central Warriors baseball team (Calhoun, GA), was overwhelmed 16-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA)
The Blue Devils now hold a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trion for a non-league outing on Friday, April 8.
Next, the Warriors confront the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) in a AA Region 7 outing, on Monday, April 11. Gordon Central will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Wolverines go into the outing with a 12-11 record after their 7-4 league loss to Pepperell (Lindale, GA).
