North Carolina High School Baseball - Lee County defeats Jordan-Matthews

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) and the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), saw Lee County's baseball squad knock off Jordan-Matthews by a count of 8-2.

Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets play the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A battle, on Friday, April 8. Lee County will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 9-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC).

The Jets now possess a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league battle on Friday, April 8. Jordan-Matthews will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
