The Reno Huskies crushed the visiting Spanish Springs Cougars baseball team by a count of 8-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 17-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carson for a 5A North bout on Saturday, April 9. Reno will face a Senators team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Galena (Reno, NV). The Senators record now stands at 3-10.

Next, the Cougars face the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 9. Spanish Springs will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 4-11 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV).
