The Christian Brothers Academy Colts volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Howell Rebels to 1 in the Colts league victory on Thursday.
The Colts now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marlboro for a game on Tuesday, April 12.
The Rebels (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Colts enter the game with a 3-0 record.
Match Summary
Christian Brothers Academy had their work cut out for them against a tremendous Howell Rebels. After jumping out to a 10-5 lead in the first set, the Rebels charged back and were able to pull ahead and nab a 25-21 first set victory. Knowing that this would be a battle, The Colts picked themselves up and played with heart which made all the difference. The Colts got out to another 10-5 lead, but this time there was no looking back. The Colts dominated the Rebels and won the 2nd set convincingly at 25-16. The 3rd set was back and forth a bit, but the Colts controlled the play most of the way through and the brothers pulled out a 25-21 victory.
