In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Downers Grove South Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lyons Lions.
The Mustangs (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Plainfield Central lost by Oswego (Oswego, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Lions encounter the Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 11. Lyons will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL).
