The Newton North Tigers topped the visiting Framingham Flyers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton South for a non-league test on Friday, April 8. Newton North will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, MA). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
The Flyers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Wellesley (Wellesley, MA). The Raiders enter the Bay State test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Wellesley was knocked off by Natick (Natick, MA), 3-0, in a league test.
