The Mayfair Monsoons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Norwalk Lancers to 2 in the Monsoons league victory on Thursday.
The Monsoons now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellflower for a Suburban game on Tuesday, April 19. Mayfair will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 18-9.
The Lancers (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Falcons enter the Suburban game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, Firebaugh was nudged by Bellflower (Bellflower, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
