The Granby Memorial Bears lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the host Ellington Knights to 11 in the Bears league win on Thursday.
The Bears (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Suffield (West Suffield, CT). The Wildcats go into the North Central Connecticut match with a 1-1 record.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Canton (Canton, CT). The Warriors go into the North Central Connecticut match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Canton nudged Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT), 13-8, in a non-league match.
