Next, the Nighthawks confront the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A challenge, on Friday, April 8. Northern Guilford will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 5-3 league loss to Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

The Whirlies now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Grimsley will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-3 non-league Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-7.
