The Haleyville Lions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Winston County Yellowjackets to 2 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Haleyville improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Lions host Russellville (Russellville, AL) to clash with the Golden Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 12. The Golden Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-3.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Cold Springs Eagles (Bremen, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 12. Winston County will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
