In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Malden Golden Tornados lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-8 victory over the Somerville Highlanders.

The Golden Tornados now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salem for a Northeastern test on Friday, April 8. Malden will face a Witches squad coming off a 22-0 league loss to Gloucester (Gloucester, MA). The Witches record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Everett Crimson Tide (Everett, MA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 12. Somerville will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
