Tallassee Tigers (Tallassee, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Brewbaker Tech Rams (Montgomery, AL), 8-4 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Auburn for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. Tallassee will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Beulah (Valley, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Brewbaker Tech falls to 23-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to battle the Hornets in a 5A Area 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Beauregard won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Pike Road (Pike Road, AL)
