The Brown County Hornets softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars to 0 in the Hornets league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Brown County improves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league game on Saturday, April 16. The Bluejays come into the game with a record of 4-2.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley - South game, on Monday, April 11. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
