With the triumph, Esperanza improves its record to 15-9 on the year. The Aztecs travel to El Modena (Orange, CA) to clash with the Vanguards in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 19. The Vanguards come into the game with a record of 7-15.

In their next game, the Comanches clash with the Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) in a Crestview game, on Tuesday, April 12. Canyon will attempt to improve on its 19-4 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 18-3 record after their 11-1 league win over Foothill (Santa Ana, CA).
