In Thursday's non-league contest, the Clinton Gaels (Clinton, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA), by a margin of 12-5.

With the triumph, Clinton moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Gaels travel to Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Friday, April 8. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
