Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), 16-0 in a league challenge.
The Knights now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Iberville for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 8. Episcopal will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 30-29 non-league win over Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Port Allen falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA) to battle the Flames in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11. The Flames enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
