Thomasville Tigers (Thomasville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Excel Panthers (Excel, AL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leroy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 8. Thomasville will face a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Blacksher (Uriah, AL). The Bears record now stands at 19-4.

With the loss, Excel falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 13-15.
