Fultondale Wildcats (Birmingham, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Indian Springs (Pelham, AL), 18-8 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Grove for a 4A Area 8 challenge on Monday, April 11. Fultondale will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Indian Springs falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The travel to Dora (Dora, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 8 challenge on Friday, April 8. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 12-8. Dora lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lynn (Lynn, AL)
