Madison Academy Mustangs (Madison, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Randolph School Raiders (Huntsville, AL), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westminster Christian for a 4A Area 13 challenge on Monday, April 11. Madison Academy will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Madison Academy (Madison, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Randolph School falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL) to face the Falcons in a 4A Area 13 challenge on Friday, April 8. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. St. John Paul II won 16-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Columbia (Huntsville, AL)
