The Opp Bobcats softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting New Brockton Gamecocks to 3 in the Bobcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Opp moves its record to 18-8 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Pike County (Brundidge, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 4 game on Thursday, April 14. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 8-6.

In their next game, the Gamecocks play the Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL) in a 3A Area 4 game, on Monday, April 11. New Brockton will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Samson (Samson, AL).
