Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), 13-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Big Blacks now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkersburg South for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19.
With the loss, Parkersburg South falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to battle the Big Reds in a Mountain State challenge on Friday, April 8. The Big Reds enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
