Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL), 22-1 in a league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a 5A Area 9 challenge on Monday, April 11.
With the loss, Wenonah falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Cavaliers in a 5A Area 9 challenge on Monday, April 11.
