Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), 13-0 in a league challenge.
The Big Blue now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hamilton-Wenham Regional for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 11.
