The Valencia Jaguars crushed the host Highland Hornets baseball team by a count of 14-3 in Friday's league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they host Belen for a 4A District 5 bout on Tuesday, April 11. Valencia will face a Eagles team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
Next, the Hornets face the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 11. Highland will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record. The Sartans enter the bout with a 13-4 record after their 28-1 non-league win over Bosque (Albuquerque, NM).
