The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) softball routed the visiting Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR), 16-4 in Friday's league bout.

The Mustangs (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Rector (Rector, AR). The Cougars go into the 2A-3 bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Rector toppled Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR), 1-0, in a league bout.
