Michigan High School Softball - New Prairie gets by Lakeshore

The New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) softball nipped the host Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Griffith (Griffith, IN). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Griffith got by Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN), 18-2, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Lakeshore falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lancers host La Porte (La Porte, IN) to battle the Slicers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Slicers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1.
