Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Tornadoes now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brownfield for a 3A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 11.
With the loss, Muleshoe falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Mules host Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 15-7.
