Nocona Indians (Nocona, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX), 17-11 in a league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lindsay for a 2A Region II District 10 challenge on Friday, April 7. Nocona will face a Knights squad coming off a 13-6 league win over Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Knights record now stands at 9-12.
