New York High School Baseball - Edison holds off Notre Dame

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Edison Spartans (Elmira Heights, NY) and the host Notre Dame Crusaders (Elmira, NY), saw Edison's baseball team gain a win over Notre Dame by a tally of 12-8.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen, NY). The Lake Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Watkins Glen was overwhelmed by Spencer-Van Etten (Spencer, NY), 8-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Crusaders face the Spencer-Van Etten/Candor Eagles (Spencer, NY) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 9. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
