Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Riverside nips Honesdale

The Riverside Vikings baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Honesdale Hornets to 12 in the Vikings league win on Monday.

The Vikings now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunmore for a Lackawanna 2 test on Wednesday, April 9. Riverside will play a Bucks team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Bucks record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Honesdale drops to 3-4 on the year. The Hornets host Old Forge (Old Forge, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a Lackawanna 2 test on Wednesday, April 9. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 3-3. Old Forge won 15-0 in their recent league test against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)
