The St. John's Prep Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Malden Catholic Lancers to 1 in the Eagles league win on Monday.
The Eagles now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. John's for a Catholic test on Wednesday, April 9. St. John's Prep will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 16-0 league win over Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Malden Catholic drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lancers travel to Boston College High (Boston, MA) to clash with the Eagles in a Catholic test on Wednesday, April 9. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-2. Boston College High won 13-3 in their recent league test against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA)
