The Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA), 12-4 in Monday's league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crowley for a 3A District 4 challenge on Friday, April 11. Pine Prairie will clash with a Gent team coming off a 15-0 league win over Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Gent record now stands at 16-14.
With the defeat, Northwest drops to 7-22 on the year. The Raiders host Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 1-16.
