The South River Rams (South River, NJ) baseball trounced the visiting Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ), 13-3 in Monday's league challenge.
The Rams now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carteret for a challenge on Wednesday, April 9. South River will clash with a Ramblers team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Ramblers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Piscataway drops to 0-3 on the year. The Chiefs host South Amboy (South Amboy, NJ) to clash with the Governors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Governors go into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
